Founder and CEO Stephen Prior decided to sell off all assets in Mexico and start fresh in Dongguan, China, which was up and coming at the time and now is the manufacturing capital of the world. Initially opening a metal stamping shop with minor assemblies, we continued to grow and build our reputation as a reliable internationally-owned company able to compete on price while guaranteeing quality and hassle-free, high-quality shipments on time.
In 2019 we purchased land in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, and established Jiangxi Youmei Technology Co., LTD., with a total investment of 80 million RMB. We started construction in June 2022, and it was completed and put into operation in January 2024.
Youmei industry zone has carried out overall planning and design to meet European and American high standard plant and product production process requirements. We have built one R & D building, three production buildings and one dormitory building, total floor space is around 30,000 square meters.
We have set up die-casting automatic production line, precision CNC machining line, printing line, assembly line, quality laboratory, quality testing center and etc. We also have a professional new project development team and mass production team, engineering research and development team, quality control team, fully with international standards of independent research development and production capacity which can meet the global customer's various demands. At present, the company's main products industries are enterprise ,consumer electronics, consumer goods, medical and health,hardware.

Located near the US/Mexican border in Tijuana, our 21,442 sq. ft.facilities is uniquely positioned as a maquiladora that promises tax-freeimports of tools, raw materials and other resources from our Americanowned and operated facilities in China.
As our operations expand, Tutamen’s long-term sustainability goal includes 100% recycling of all our water and continuing to reduce our carbon footprint, with the idea of becoming completely carbon neutral by 2024.
Three parcels of land were purchased to create a 14,604 m² lot in Tijuana, Mexico.
We headed into the new year with a tangible resilience due to a number of key factors: our effectiveness as a team to manage the pandemic and protect our staff, our carefully executed growth strategy and planned management of cash reserves. Looking to further our foothold and support our customers in the US, we set up a warehouse and support staff in San Diego. Our entire team of staff were successfully vaccinated in China. As the world begins to tentatively open up again, we are more committed than ever to furthering our expansion. This year Tutamen will begin construction of a 300,000 sq ft tech park facility on our own land and property.
Despite being located in the country where the pandemic broke out, we were one of the very first facilities able to get back up and running. While many factories were shutting down around us, we managed to not only survive but grow our business by moving quickly and providing solutions. We kept delivering to our customers despite shipping setbacks and material crunches and added new metal stamping and mold fabrication facilities for stamping, die casting and plastic injection molds. This helped us increase our mold making capacity, with a special focus on rapid prototyping for plastic/stamped/machined components. Over the course of a challenging year, Tutamen still managed to grow its capacity by 30%.
We established a new high volume satellite facility in DongGuan as we simply ran out of space at our current facility. Deciding on the expansion of our manufacturing capacity has always been met with a carefully balanced outlook of continuing to deliver to our customers while continuing to make quality our primary focus. Over the last two years, we doubled our CNC capacity, added die casting capacity and doubled again on both those capabilities. We began our search for something even bigger.
We started to feel price pressure in China and looking for a North American solution we returned to Mexico, opening our Tijuana facility focused on Plastic Injection molding, supported by very capable engineering and supply chain based in China. The company continues to grow as we strive to find innovative solutions for customers using our worldwide network to create a simple alternative to the otherwise chaotic world of international manufacturing.
Tutamen establishes SHUPIN, an FDA licensed subsidiary focused on importing medical products into the USA market.
In 2012 we opened our first metal machining shop focused on high cosmetic parts for IoT and golfing industries. As our capabilities and knowledge grew, we began aggressively pursuing more complex projects where our engineering expertise allowed us to have a greater value add. To support fast turnaround and effective designs we started making our own plastic and metal tools and fixtures in-house. This has allowed us to save on cost internally as well as give discounts to customers while at the same time having greater control over the quality of tools we are able to provide.
We acquired a plastic injection company and began producing parts in a number of different industries varying from simple commodities to high cosmetic tight tolerance parts. Shortly after working in plastics, we began working more closely in the design and maintenance of the tooling in order to better control process and lifetime capability of our tools.
